Sauteed Apples


  • 3 apples, washed, cored and chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • ~1 T butter
  • ~1 T white sugar
  • Cinnamon and Nutmeg to taste


  • Melt butter in pan over medium heat
  • Add apples into pan, let cook for ~ 3 minutes, stirring occasionally
  • Incorporate sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg
  • Stir until all apples are thoroughly coated, reduce heat to medium-low
  • Allow apples to cook for another ~5 minutes, reduce heat to low
  • Continue cooking until desired level of softness/carmelization has been reached
