Chocolate Chip Meringue Puffs

I love these because they’re easy, low-calorie and if you make them before bed, they’re ready in the morning.  Oh, and they can be kosher for Passover!


  • 2 egg whites
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 bag chocolate chips


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Beat egg whites until stiff (using electric hand mixer)
  • Add sugar gradually until stiff again
  • Fold in chips
  • Drop on greased cookie sheet (makes about 12)
  • Place in oven and turn off
  • Let sit overnight (4 hrs minimum)
