I feel like we’re wrapping up 2018 with a strong cooking game.
Friday – Cheesy Polenta with Mushrooms and Sauteed Spicy Asparagus from Cravings: Hungry for More
This meal is tasty. This meal is somewhat more labor intensive than the others we make. This meal is incredible when I throw a pat of smoked butter from Boss Mouse Cheese into the polenta and into the mushrooms amen.
Sunday – Upriver Salmon from Farmhouse Rules, Crispy Buffalo Smashies from Cravings: Hungry for More, Garlicky Wilted Spinach
We have never made this salmon recipe before and it will definitely be a regular for us from now on.
Tuesday – Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce
It was a holiday so once again we made Jeanne’s bread pudding. Also pictured: the rest of the brunch feast.

Still dusting off new recipes from this cookbook. This is another keeper. The cilantro-onion-jalapeno relish was a nice accent as well.
