Happy Friday, kittens! Another week has passed and who knows where it went, really. Once again, lots of cooking. Even though we’re still grilling EVERYTHING, we still found a way to change it up. Who knows what next week will bring!
Frankly if ever there was a day not to have guests over, this was it. But we had been looking forward to seeing Mike and Heather for such a long time. They were the best company and we had such a nice evening together. Since we’re now confined to our house unless we have a babysitter, dinner guests are the way of the future.
Sunday – BBQ Chicken Tacos with Corn on the Cob and Grilled Zucchini
We made eight chicken thighs for our dinner party and only ate four. So I decided the leftovers would live their best life as an easy Sunday night dinner for us.
Apparently Marcus likes roasted carrots but will only grudgingly admit it. The potato salad is now a favorite. We ate chicken thighs because our freezer is full of them. The end.
Wednesday – Turkey Burgers with Corn on the Cob, Dijon Potatoes, Garlic Green Beans
In case you are wondering what the worst thing in the world is, it is eating frozen green beans when you should be eating fresh but you forgot to put them on the list!!! I looked at Marcus and was like Seriously we survive the winter on these?!
Miscellaneous – Earth Cookies
