Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and success stories re: The Sleep Post. I am now drinking iced coffee in the afternoon instead of because I need it to survive and oh my God it is so much fun. When Critter and I were at Baby Yoga on Tuesday, we were supposed to share things that were going well/not so well and I confessed that honestly, the last week and a half have been the most fun to be his mama. I am sure a lot of that has to do with how much more interactive he is, but also feeling awake (instead of tired and like death warmed over) just makes a world of difference.
DID I MENTION THAT MARCUS AND I ARE STILL BOTH SO EXCITED ABOUT HIS SLEEP AND OURS TOO.
We are. I’ll probably be shouting it from the rooftops next week too.
- Last week, Critter FINALLY rolled from front to back.
- Katie and I signed up for ECFE that will run September through May. Since Critter and Baby G are not in daycare, this will give them some time with new friends, Katie and I a reason to leave the house on Thursdays, and hopefully the rest of the group is cool and we meet some new mama friends as well.
- I have ordered this tank (NOT A REFERRAL LINK) in all colors.
I ordered it for the following reasons: (1) I was getting horrifically tired of wearing nursing tanks all the time, (2) This paired with the right bra looks like an appropriately “fashionable” workout top and (3) It’s actually a nice top to do yoga in and I will be doing yoga MUCH longer than I will be breastfeeding.
- My makeup routine. I thought I took a picture of this but I did not and do we really care? No. On the days I go to work, I do full make-up because I feel like that’s the appropriate thing to do. But on the days I’m at home, I now use concealer, mascara AND bronzer. The addition of bronzer takes me from looking conscious to conscious and vibrant. AKA Truly Alive. Highly recommend.
