Shockingly/not shockingly, everything we made this week was on The List. I also ate my fair share of avocado toast, and overnight oats. Oatmeal is good for your milk supply, so I am pretty sure I’ll just be slamming oatmeal from now until the end of time.
Some food we did not have to make this week included takeaway deli sandwiches, a southwestern Chicken Noodle Casserole, stuffed pepper soup, and a Baked Potato Pizza/Salad/Brussels Sprouts from Pizza Luce. It was all edible and I did not have to make it. Bless you, friends and family. Bless you.
Saturday – Baked Potatoes with Turkey Chili from Trader Joe’s
This is a meal that was largely (if not entirely) cooked by Marcus. I think I may have just…showed up to it. I love him.
Sunday – Garden Pie
I made this on Sunday so that I could eat it throughout the week and this was a brilliant move. I will be doing it again this week for that very same reason.
Monday – Breakfast Tacos
Obviously I ate more than one taco, y’all.
Definitely glad that we have seven more portions of breakfast sausage hanging out in the freezer, just waiting to be pressed into service as this is just such a simple meal to prepare. I think the two most time-intensive parts were the defrosting of the meat, and the heating of the tortillas.
