We’re actually on the final phase of our Babymoon right now in New York, so that is just lovely. We left yesterday, so between travel and dinners with family, this was a bit of a light week for actual cooking in our house.
If you missed it earlier in the week (since I hid it in the most boring blog post ever), I finally typed up the recipe for Garden Pie.
Miscellaneous – Chickpea Salad
This is not actually the chickpea salad I made this week, it’s a picture from…another time I made chickpea salad. Because by the time I got to the bottom of the tupperware container, I thought, Self, does anyone actually want to see a photo of this? and the answer was a resounding “No.”
But I do think the Friday Food Round-Up is more interesting with pictures ,yes?
Tuesday – Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice and Green Beans
This is one of Marcus’ all-time favorite dinners and I do not make it nearly enough. When I was doing our meal planning last weekend, I honestly did not have a specific craving or feeling towards anything (this is usually what I use as my compass) so finally I settled on this because I knew we would both love it.
