Friday Food Round-Up!

Marcus and I have been varying degrees of horrible-feeling this week, so cooking was a struggle.  On that note, I’m incredibly thankful that I decided this week could be a sort-of Favorite Things-style week.

Sunday – Zorbaz Mexican Pizza on Pizza Crust


We all know that Zorbaz’ Mexican Pizza is one of my happiest food.  So, since there’s zero chance of us me eating it in-person until April, we have to make it here.

What you’re going to slap on your pizza (in order): 1/2 can refried beans, 2/3 small can of tomato sauce, 1 pound ground beef/turkey with taco seasoning, one tomato (diced) mixed with 1/2 bunch cilantro (minced) and 1 (minced/seeded) jalapeno, shredded cheese.

You can toss some shredded lettuce on at the end for it to be truly authentic, but for long-term storage (AKA overnight), it’s easier to do without.

Wednesday – Channa Masala with Roasted Broccoli, Rice and Trader Joe’s Garlic Naan


Y’all, if you haven’t made this yet, I’m sorry for you.  It’s just that easy.

Thursday – Breakfast Tacos with Breakfast Sausage from The Homesick Texan and Guacamole


When I made our meal plan at the beginning of the week, I threw this on there because I still had a half pound of breakfast sausage hanging around in my freezer from September.

As it turns out, it was exactly what I needed to eat for dinner.
