  1. The Dovekeepers. Read it!!

  2. I read “Unorthodox” right after I finished reading “Unchosen, the Hidden lives of Hasidic Rebels” and all I can say is wow. I had once thought Hasidim with all the ritual and devoutness was beautiful but like you said “the blinders are coming off” and they did. Thanks for all the reading recommendations – I’m heading to the library today!

  3. The Pact – Jodi Piccoult
In the Garden of the Beasts – Erik Larson
    and finally run to read…
The Girls from Ames – Jeffrey Zaslow

  4. WOW! This looks like a great Summer Reading List. 😉 I love to read, but I’ve left that hobby in the dust. I need to set my priorities straight and do what I love, right? I’m glad you have a “My Reads” section so I don’t have to remember all of these. 😉 Cheers~

  5. Wait…it’s hard to get into Sarah’s Key? Because I was planning to take it on my trip next week. Good thing I have you to warn me.

“Read My Hips.” Too cute. How do people come up with such clever titles?

I just finished a Jane Green book. Can’t remember the name of it. The book was as unimpressive as the title apparently is!

  6. Darn girl. You’ve been doing some major reading! Where do find the time! You must be running with arms outstretched, book in tow! My reading pace has decreased of late…Too much knitting!

  7. Wow. The American Way of Eating and Every 12 Seconds are two books I need to add, ASAP!

Currently I am reading Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and The Book Thief.

  8. In process:
Quiet: The Power of Introverts by Susan Cain
The Great Saskatchewan Bucket List by Robin and Arlene Karpan
The Down and Dirty Guide to Camping with Kids by Helen Olssen
    On deck:
the 5th book in the Game of Thrones series
    Anna Karenina by Tolstoy
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest by Stieg Larsson

  9. I have yet to crack the book Mads sent me back in February, but it’s on my bedside table. I miss being able to read whenever I want. Someday, my mom promised me, I will have time again when HRH is older.
Big plans to get Eat and Run. If only I could get TH to read that. And your first two listings.
I highly recommend 50/50 (Dean Karnazes). It was a fast read and really a great inspiration for us “baby” runners.

  10. Wow, you’ve been reading a lot lately! I haven’t read anything lately, but the books you suggest sound like good next books to read.
