I know, I know.  Y’all have been on the edge of your seats.

Yes, we did make it to The World Famous Olive Garden on Friday night.

Who wouldn’t want to make that place numero uno on their list?

Wild horses couldn’t have kept us away.

When one of the servers showed us where Marilyn sat, my eyes got as wide as saucers.

I couldn’t even help it.

While none of us ordered the Raspberry Lemonade, Michelle and I did drink champagne with the biggest strawberries I’ve ever seen in a cocktail.

They may or may not have overwhelmed the glass.

It just seemed kind of fitting.

What’s your go-to cocktail when you’re out?

  1. I like to change it up. I am a wine girl, but when I’m in the mood for a cocktail, it’s anything including a little champagne! That trip to OG must have been epic! 😉

  2. So glad you didn’t leave GF without a visit! I was also partial to the Red Lobster but the wait was always long.

I am a beer gal 99% of the time, but it depends on the selection.

  3. I stick to water most of the time. And when I’m feeling super daring? I order a Pelligrino (sp?).

Now I’ll be dreaming of amazing salad, unlimited soup, and breadsticks all afternoon. My last visit to Olive Garden was maybe a decade ago? Must make another visit….

Great hair in this pic…Hope you are having a great weekend Kat!

  4. I just laughed so hard that I cried.
Give me a Shiner Bock any day of the week, but I will never complain if all you have is a bottle of the bubbly. Prosecco is my favorite, but I also love Cava.

  5. That is amazing. Actually, the whole story behind the “world famous Olive Garden” is great.
No cocktails for me… yet! I feel like when it’s legal for me to drink in restaurants I’ll always try to order a mimosa. Screw the morning drink only rule.
