Happy Sunday, kittens!
I don’t know about y’all, but the weather in Minneapolis was absolutely gorgeous this weekend. Like Summer in October-gorgeous.
So I capitalized on the weather by spending most of the day outside – watching Spot, workshopping and basking in the sun.
If this is how the rest of the
non-arctic world lives, I don’t ever want to go back. Wearing a Calypso St. Barth’s tunic after Labor Day wasn’t an opportunity I thought I would ever have.
Thank Goodness they produced them in sensible colors like dark red and buff.
This is Revlon 820 Stormy earlier this week.
DEFINITELY warmer than my last attempt.
Pros: Doesn’t make me look like a corpse. Some sort of strange second-cousin to Gray Suede.
Cons: When it chips, EVERYBODY can tell. Not so good for work if I have to work with clients.
I have one more option to test out, but I think I’ll be saving that one for next week.
Have you had “normal” fall weather where you live? Warmer? Colder?
Even though it’s bizarrely warm, the trees are still changing according to schedule. It’s actually kind of nice because you get to enjoy all of the scenery without any of the chill.
