Turban Time

I know, some of you are wondering Kat, wtf is going on here?

For what it’s worth, me too.

But The Migraine Turban happens.

And when trying on a cocktail dress in an improbable size happens at the same time, we learn yet another one of the many definitions for The Perfect Storm.

What we can take away from this: I am both shameless and adept at multi-tasking.

With that, it’s really time for me to go and sleep this one off.

Do you get migraines?

What is your go-to headache remedy?

I usually do a combo of The Turban, some Excedrin (Imitrex doesn’t work for me…go figure.) and a lot of water.

  1. Excedrin and more water than could possibly be necessary works every time. I’m intrigued by the turban…

  2. Water water water…that is the key for me, mixed with ibuprofen. Lots of it, at that. Though, turbans are in – so rock it, girl.
    Much love,

  3. Oh no! I hope it goes away soon! I don’t generally get migranes anymore, though I did as a kid. I usually tried to sleep it off if possible because I hate/hated drugs but that’s not always possible. Hugs! (Side note, the dress is cute, very New Year’s Eve party LBD)

  4. Yikes! I haven’t had one for a while. I normally just take as much medicine as I can without lapsing in a coma and try to sleep. Hope you feel better!

  5. First of all that picture is ridiculous. Second you are turning into me, trying on the bridesmaid dress all the time. Third, for migraines a cold washcloth, a dark room, and sleep are the only things that really cure me. I am completely useless if a migraine hits so its better if I just go back to bed.

  6. thats a good remedy! usually i try to get someone to give me a head and neck massage which helps, but i think i’ll try the turban next time!! ❤

  7. whoa I have never heard of this remedy! I don’t get migraines but my husband does. Maybe I’ll recommend? hehe

  8. I get migraines from time to time. I love my excedrin, but also use peppermint oil.. a heat sash…cool rag… or a little bit of everything 🙂

  9. is that the dress I think it is?
