I think the more fitness-devoted among us would more aptly describe this as “fuel” since it involves food that you eat before a run to get your bod in-gear. Frankly, I think it sounds pretentious and divorced from reality. If you use “fuel,” you probably aren’t on the same page as Tenaciously Yours, about fitness.
