Roasted broccoli, as I discovered, is kind of like vegetable candy. It’s flipping delicious. And since you can season it with whatever you like really, you can serve it with any dish.
Ingredients
- One to two broccoli heads
- Olive oil
- Seasonings of your choice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Rinse broccoli and chop into pieces
- Toss broccoli in large bowl with approximately 2-3T of olive oil
- Spread out on baking sheet and roast in oven for approximately fifteen minutes
- Remove from oven, turn and brush with 2T olive oil and season to taste (with seasonings of choice – salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, etc.)
- Return to oven for approximately five more minutes
- Remove from oven and serve
