In recent years, I’ve really enjoyed Water for Elephants, Life of Pi, and Everything is Illuminated. One of my friends just highly recommended the Hunger Games trilogy to me, so that may be next on my reading list.

Hey Kat! I was checking our your blog and have to give you a couple book ideas: The Glass Castle (favorite) , anything by Jodi Picoult, the Reliable Wife, all of Chelsea Handler’s books, and the Joy Luck Club. I’m reading the last one as a possible book for my high school English class, so I realize you probably already read it in high school, but if not, pick it up.

I just finished The Girl Who Played With Fire. Really, really good.

I haven’t read a pile the past couple of years due to being in school, but one of the best I’ve read was A Thread of Grace. Beautifully written and an interesting story. I really do like the Millenium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson, too, but since it’s so fresh, it’s hard for me to rank it comparatively. I think it’s something I would re-read, though, so that’s saying something.

yay – I’m not the only one who has a thing about using containers that are too big! I really like the salad bar idea – very smart. That definitely sounds better than eating baby carrots for lunch everyday because they’re the only thing ready to go! LOL
