Baby Steps

If you’ve stopped by Tenaciously Yours, this morning, then you’ve probably seen one of the three or four themes that I’ve been playing around with.

Why?

Well for one, I rolled out of bed this morning and my body was (and is) still revolting, so I figured it would be best to only participate in activities from the comfort of the couch.

The real reason is that one of my pet peeves is that with WordPress, everyone feels the need to force you to use a blue color scheme, a black and white motif, or a totally black motif.  If you know me, I think you get the impression that I am just not that kind of person.  So I’ve been questing to find a layout that would allow me to do some minimal color-changing, get rid of ALL of the blue and not offend my senses font-wise.  As of today, I have come to the understanding that there is yet another service I could sign up for that would allow me to use their fonts, but frankly, learning HTML color codes was really enough for me for probably the next week.  We’ll save fonts for another day.

On that note, thank God for Google.  Otherwise, I would have never made it this far.  You can click here and here to see the sites where I grabbed my color codes.

And yes, I know that the picture on the header is kind of shitty (Read: Blurry and Terrible).  But I couldn’t deal with the sunrise/suset scene concept anymore.  Despite the low photo quality, it’s not particularly distracting, which is really enough for me right now.
