Call me a Girl-Genius

Preface: I am 100% certain that I am experiencing phantom pain at my H1N1 injection site.  Mom informed me that it means I am probably catching autism.

Tonight, I had a revelation.  In my neck of the woods, there’s a neighborhood called “Texa-Tonka.”  And for the last 22 years prior to today, I had no clue of what that meant.  Even though I am familiar with the concept of SoHo and TriBeCa and all sorts of New York-ish shenanigans like that.  So as I was driving home from some friends’ apartment, I saw the Texa-Tonka sign.  And I realized I was driving on Minnetonka Boulevard.

But it gets so much better because then it struck me.  In that neck of the woods, ALL OF THE STREETS ARE NAMED AFTER STATES.  At which point, the lightening bolt came down from the heavens and I realized I knew exactly where I would find Texas.  And lo and behold, I did.  Texas and Minnetonka…Texa-Tonka.

Genius.
