Happy birthday early!

Last year for my birthday, my present was a BlackBerry Curve that I got in mid-July. Which was fine. It was time to renew our contract, and I craved a more technologically advanced phone than the rest of my family members.
Fast forward one year.
The computer I got for college cannot be removed from the power supply (otherwise immediate computer death follows), the fan is broken so it must be on a fan board at all times or else it overheats, and it loads and runs extremely slowly.
Not so hot when your goal is to move into an apartment where you may or may not have internet access (to be determined).
That being said, I felt it was time to go on the hunt for a new computer. Specifically, one that would allow me to use iTunes, get wireless internet access, and enable light word processing (given that at this point in my life, I’m not going to be writing a large number of papers).
So, meet my new netbook. Which, once its finished charging and has my iTunes swapped over (so, approximately Tuesday), will be my new joy.
And yes, I really did just post this picture so that you all could admire the lace tablecloth that it is resting upon.
It has a 10.5″ screen and weighs 2.6 lbs. I am psyched.
